'MemAlly'는 사용자의 개인정보를 소중히 여기며, 관련 법령을 준수합니다. MemAlly는 위치·시간 기반 리마인더 앱으로, 개인정보 수집을 최소화하고 위치 기록과 AI 학습 데이터를 기기 내에서만 처리하는 것을 원칙으로 합니다.

1. 수집하는 개인정보 항목

• 필수 수집 항목:
  • 위치정보 — ① 설정하신 알림 시각에 알림 발동 여부 판정을 위해 확인, ② 기기 내 AI 학습을 위해 화면 켜짐·이동 감지·1일 1회 정기 체크 시점마다 최대 2분에 1회 샘플 수집 (아래 3항 참조)
• 선택 수집 항목 (클라우드 백업 이용 시):
  • 계정 정보 — Google 또는 Apple 계정의 이메일, 이름 (로그인 시)

2. 개인정보의 수집 및 이용 목적

• 위치·시간 기반 알림 제공 (앱의 핵심 기능)
• 기기 내 AI 패턴 학습을 통한 알림 개선 제안 (외부 전송 없음)
• 선택적 클라우드 백업 및 기기 간 데이터 복원 (로그인 시에만)
• 광고 제공 및 서비스 유지

3. 위치정보의 처리

• 위치는 두 가지 목적으로만 확인됩니다: ① 알림 발동 판정 — 설정하신 알림 시각에 도달했을 때 반경 안/밖 여부를 확인하기 위해 그룹 알림당 1회. ② AI 학습용 샘플 수집 — 화면을 켜거나, 기기가 일정 거리 이상 이동했을 때, 또는 하루 1회 정기 체크 시점에 최대 2분에 1회로 제한하여 위치를 기록합니다.
• MemAlly는 상시 위치 추적을 하지 않으며, GPS를 실시간·연속으로 조회하지 않습니다.
• ①의 위치는 알림 판정에만 사용되고 별도로 저장되지 않습니다. ②의 위치는 AI 패턴 학습 원본 데이터로 기기 내에만 저장됩니다(4항 참조).
• 위치 기록은 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.

4. 온디바이스 AI 학습

• MemAlly는 위치 샘플(관측 시각·요일·시간대·위치)을 기기 내에 저장하고, 이를 바탕으로 기기 내에서만 이동 패턴을 학습하여 새 알림을 제안합니다.
• 학습은 매일 야간 시간대(23시~새벽 6시 사이), 배터리 잔량이 충분할 때만 백그라운드에서 실행됩니다.
• 위치 샘플과 학습 결과(패턴)는 외부 서버로 전송되지 않으며, 클라우드 백업 범위에서도 제외됩니다.
• 설정에서 AI 제안을 끄면 새 제안 생성만 중단되며, 학습을 위한 위치 샘플 수집 자체는 계속됩니다(다시 켰을 때 학습 공백 없이 이어지도록 하기 위함).
• 위치 샘플은 56일이 지나면 자동 삭제됩니다.

5. 클라우드 백업 (선택)

• 클라우드 백업은 Google 또는 Apple 계정으로 로그인한 경우에만 동작하는 선택 기능입니다.
• 백업 대상은 장소(Place)와 아이템(Item) 데이터(이름·위치·반경·시간·요일)로 한정되며, 위치 샘플·AI 학습 데이터·앱 설정은 백업되지 않습니다.
• 백업 데이터는 Google Firebase(Cloud Firestore)에 사용자 계정 단위로 저장됩니다.
• 로그아웃 시 동기화가 중단되며, 기기 내 데이터는 유지됩니다.

6. 개인정보의 보유 및 이용 기간

• 위치 샘플(기기 내): 56일 경과 시 자동 삭제
• 기기 내 데이터: 앱 삭제 시 함께 제거
• 클라우드 백업 데이터: 계정 삭제 요청 시 즉시 파기
• 관련 법령에 따라 일정 기간 보관이 필요한 경우 해당 기간 동안 보관

7. 개인정보의 제3자 제공

• MemAlly는 원칙적으로 사용자의 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다.
• 법령에 근거하거나 이용자의 동의가 있는 경우에만 예외적으로 제공될 수 있습니다.

8. 외부 서비스 이용 및 처리 위탁

• Firebase Authentication: 로그인(사용자 인증) 기능 제공 — 이메일·이름 등 최소 정보만 처리
• Sign in with Apple: Apple 계정 로그인 제공 — Apple의 이메일 비공개(릴레이) 기능 사용 가능
• Cloud Firestore: 선택적 클라우드 백업 데이터 저장
• Google AdMob: 앱 내 광고 제공 — 비개인화(맞춤형이 아닌) 광고만 표시하며, 다른 앱·웹사이트의 활동 데이터와 연결해 이용자를 추적하지 않습니다

9. 아동의 개인정보 보호

• MemAlly는 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.

10. 이용자의 권리 및 행사 방법

• 알림 데이터는 앱 내에서 언제든지 조회·수정·삭제할 수 있습니다.
• 설정에서 AI 제안(새 알림 추천)을 끌 수 있습니다.
• 로그아웃으로 클라우드 동기화를 중단할 수 있습니다.
• 계정 및 클라우드 백업 데이터 삭제는 이메일로 요청할 수 있습니다.

11. 개인정보 보호를 위한 조치

• 위치 기록·AI 데이터의 기기 내 처리 (외부 전송 최소화)
• 접근 권한 최소화 및 관리
• 정기적인 보안 점검 및 취약점 대응

12. 다국어 지원

• MemAlly는 한국어, 영어, 일본어, 독일어, 스페인어, 중국어(간체·번체) 등 7개 언어를 지원합니다.

13. 개인정보처리방침의 변경

• 본 방침은 법령, 서비스 정책 변경 등에 따라 변경될 수 있습니다.
• 중요 변경 시 앱 내 공지 등으로 안내합니다.

Privacy Policy

'MemAlly' values your privacy and complies with relevant laws. MemAlly is a location- and time-based reminder app. We minimize data collection and, as a principle, process location records and AI learning data on your device only.

1. Information Collected

• Required:
  • Location data — ① checked to trigger reminders at your scheduled time, and ② collected as samples (at most once every 2 minutes) when the screen turns on, when you move a meaningful distance, or during one daily check, for on-device AI learning (see Section 3)
• Optional (only if you use cloud backup):
  • Account information — email and name from your Google or Apple account (upon sign-in)

2. Purpose of Collection and Use

• Providing location- and time-based reminders (core app function)
• On-device AI pattern learning for reminder suggestions (no external transmission)
• Optional cloud backup and cross-device restore (only when signed in)
• Serving ads and maintaining the service

3. Location Data Handling

• Location is checked for two purposes only: ① Reminder triggering — once per grouped reminder, when your scheduled time is reached, to check whether you are inside or outside the set radius. ② AI learning samples — recorded when the screen turns on, when you move a meaningful distance, or during one daily check, limited to at most once every 2 minutes.
• MemAlly does not continuously or in real time track your location in the background.
• Location from ① is used only for the reminder check and is not stored separately. Location from ② is stored only on your device as raw data for AI pattern learning (see Section 4).
• Location records are never sent to a server.

4. On-Device AI Learning

• MemAlly stores location samples (observed time, day of week, hour, and location) on your device and learns movement patterns on-device only to suggest new reminders.
• Learning runs in the background overnight (between 11 PM and 6 AM), only when the battery level is sufficient.
• Location samples and learning results (patterns) are never transmitted externally and are excluded from cloud backup.
• Turning off AI suggestions in Settings only stops new suggestions from being generated; collecting location samples for learning continues, so learning can resume without a gap if you turn it back on.
• Location samples are automatically deleted after 56 days.

5. Cloud Backup (Optional)

• Cloud backup works only when you sign in with a Google or Apple account.
• Backup covers Place and Item data only (name, location, radius, time, days); location samples, AI learning data, and app settings are not backed up.
• Backup data is stored per account in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore).
• Signing out stops synchronization; on-device data remains intact.

6. Retention Period

• Location samples (on-device): automatically deleted after 56 days
• On-device data: removed when the app is uninstalled
• Cloud backup data: destroyed immediately upon account deletion request
• Retained for the required period when applicable laws mandate it

7. Third-Party Provision

• MemAlly does not provide personal information to third parties in principle.
• Exceptions apply only when required by law or with user consent.

8. External Services and Processing Delegation

• Firebase Authentication: sign-in (user authentication) — processes minimal information such as email and name
• Sign in with Apple: provides Apple account sign-in — Apple's Hide My Email (relay) may be used
• Cloud Firestore: stores optional cloud backup data
• Google AdMob: serves in-app ads — shows only non-personalized ads and does not track users by linking data with other companies' apps or websites
• External services follow their own privacy policies:

9. Children's Privacy

• MemAlly is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. User Rights

• Reminder data can be viewed, edited, and deleted in the app at any time.
• AI suggestions (new reminder recommendations) can be turned off in Settings.
• Signing out stops cloud synchronization.
• Account and cloud backup data deletion can be requested via email.

11. Security Measures

• On-device processing of location records and AI data (minimal external transmission)
• Minimized access privileges and management
• Regular security reviews and vulnerability response

12. Multilingual Support

• MemAlly supports 7 languages: Korean, English, Japanese, German, Spanish, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).

13. Changes to This Policy

• This policy may change due to laws or service policy updates.
• Significant changes will be announced in the app.
